Temple Work During Your Mission
The Mission Office is located literally in the shadow of the magnificent 257-foot high Los Angeles California Temple which towers above Santa Monica Boulevard in Westwood.
Missionaries will have the opportunity to attend the temple with recent converts to perform ordinances for deceased family members. The temple will provide missionaries the clothing needed to perform ordinance work.
The Los Angeles Temple Visitors’ Center shares a building with the Mission Office. Missionaries will have many opportunities to take friends on tours. Some missionaries are given a specific assignment to work in the Visitors’ Center.
At Christmas time the temple grounds are aglow with millions of brightly colored lights to remind all of the birth of the Light of the World, Jesus Christ.
